Where it all started: First photo taken with Isis ca. 2013

Photo Essay: Isis

Photo Essay: Surviving Hurricane Matthew, Unicef.

Main aspect that caught my attention in this photo essay was composition, the importance of caputring the environment with the subject.

Research: Black Male Glamour, as Style and Substance NY Times Photo Essay

These photos appeal to me due to the emotive qualities of each person. I find it relatable to the previous photos I have posted of Isis because of this fact and that it is captured the essence of a person in the moment. The photos show a deep understanding to representation of a black male, just as I want to capture the life of my daughter Isis.

Research: At Open-Mike Night, Anything Goes NY Times Photo Essay.

I like these images because of the way the photographer captured the essence of each performer, gives them personality and character. Also the colours and boldness of light present.
